Gliders, Super Gliders and Avalanche Teens

Youth Programs

The Tamarack Gliders and Avalanche Programs continue it’s tradition to provide a fun way to encourage children from 5-14 to enjoy the sport of cross country skiing. Through games and creative activities, children learn skiing skills as they explore trails in the winter wonderland of the Lakes Basin. Treasure hunts, obstacle courses, games of tag and tree skiing are the means by which our qualified Tamarack instructors coach the Gliders. All groups are split by age and ability.
Nine weeks of cross country excitement starts in January.

Check out the new Super Gliders who meet three times a week and the revised Avalanche teens from 11-14 years old, our middle school program.
